Blue Lug is our Japanese distributor and we love them. Above is one of the last two bikes we sent their way which didn’t get covered on our Flickr because of a treat we wanted to keep secret until they saw the frames for the first time. We like them so much, we secretly machined some braze-on badges of their heart logo and threw them on the seat tube. Surprise!
Located in Hatagaya Blue Lug recently moved to this location to expand their shop and continue sharing their wares. From one-offs to a bevvy of frames from Surly, Cinelli, and Icarus! They also have a handmade shop located right next door for manufacturing everything from coin purses to this embroidered pillow they gave us in ATX that reads Geekhouse : Blue Lug in Japanese!
They also take some of the most fun pictures in the world. Their Flickr page is constantly being updated with beautiful and creative photography of complete builds, new products, and more. Check out these two of them jumping around with the Mudville.
