With a real small shop we run out of angles to photograph things from real quickly. More often than not, what ends up in the background in a wall covered in frames. Well, if you’ve ever wondered what the heck we’re doing with all these bikes- today’s your day! Here’s this week’s breakdown:
#1 Dan St. Germain‘s Geekhouse Rockcity of (Red Hook Crit flier fame).
#2 Aging Raleigh awaiting a Sugarcoat.
#3 Part-time Geekhouse welder Mike Salvatore AKA Salvatron AKA TRON also builds his own frames called ‘Sketchy Bikes’. Here we’ve got a Sketchy CX bike. Best brand name ever.
#4 Saila Bicycles by Lauren Trout also pops by once in a while for a little powder action. This is one of her track bikes- getting a Sugarcoat as well.
#5 IRO in for Sugarcoat. Antique White.
#6 Bianchi in for Sugarcoat. Smoke Grey.
#7 Schwinn Cutter for Sugarcoat; with the instructions: “Go nuts!”
#8 Pake with a fresh Sugarcoat for our friend Greg Waldo who was recently in an accident but is on the mend and getting ready to ride soon! YAY! Bradford dropped a beautiful brown/grey/purple-y powder on it yesterday and it came out fantastic!
Back to the Geekhouses!
#9 Jeremiah’s Mudville - awaiting some SRAM Red bits.
#10 Wormtown 29er for MTB Squad
#11 Erin’s Mudville (this one’s getting a sparkle pink, can’t wait to see that one!)
#12 Wormtown 29er for MTB Squad
Exciting stuff eh? In about a week or so there will be an entirely new wall of bikes. Watching the wall is a great way to get a read on what we’re doing. Stay tuned to Flickr for the finished builds, before and after Sugarcoat shots, and the final product of all this MTB chatter!
