Geekhouse Two Point Oh!

Ahhh yes! Springtime! A time for new beginnings, balancing and dying different types of eggs, and… website re-boots! A lot of planning went into this new site, but we don’t know how to build ‘webbernetz’ things (just mostly stick to the siq-fixiez) so we owe everything to Dan St. Germain and Erik Dasque for their tireless effort and amazing ability to turn frame builder gibberish into internet gold. After poking around a bit you’ll immediately realize you want them to make your new website for you so don’t hesitate to get in touch to learn more about how fantastic we think they are.

I, Gregory, will be doing most of the posting because Marty lost the key to the shackle he used to lock me to the iMac so that’s just the way it’s going to be. We’ll all be scribing articles when we can and you have the option of viewing posts by an author, and e-mailing the author of each post directly down there just above the comments section. Expect new posts Monday through Friday and forget about the old WordPress blog; this is the one-stop-shop for all updates, new products, recent builds, soft goods, drama, jokes we hear, pictures of cool rocks we find, and more.

We’ve opted for comments using DisQus which enables you to comment as your Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, etc. profile and we want you to chime in. You may remember our defunct commenting system on the old blog- well, so long stupid malfunctioning theme! We’re looking forward to a lot of trolling from the rest of the blogosphere that we’ve been following/terrorizing online for years.

There will be hiccups. So please bear with us while we set-up and get our cyber-sea legs. But please, take your time, humor my Google Analytics obsession and poke around for a while. We’ve got a beautiful new site & store built by Erik, some great new photography care of Heather, and I’ll be posting updates when we do and often times when we don’t have anything to post about. Thanks for checking it out, Enjoy!

About Greggles

I started working at Geekhouse in the Fall of 2009. I rode my Woodville coast to coast and missed Allston dearly for 2.5 months; when I returned I vowed I would never leave Marty's side again. My other interests include papier-mâché and Kupel's bagels.

Thanks is owed to one @jonathanawesome on that one. And Erik made me read every TechCrunch article about DisQus prior to choosing it.
