Blue Lug Visit

This past weekend we had the pleasure of welcoming our Japanese dealer, Blue Lug to the Geekhouse shop. The Blue Lug crew also brought along two customers from Toyko to place orders for frames and get custom fittings. Just wanted to say thanks again to Wakako, Toshihiro, Takahiro, Nobuhiko, and our good friend Nao (3RRR) for bringing them over. More pics on flickr of their trip.

Here’s a shot of me showing the guys Geekhouse #1, which hangs on the back wall of the shop.

The guys came prepared with all their homework done. Including photo shopped images of our bike frames in the exact colors ways they were looking for. Also, both guys had pics of high-end cars as color inspiration!

Toshihiro wasn’t scheduled to get fitted. But I persuaded him that we would make him a really cool bike at some point soon…

I gave the guys some special parting gifts, aka pre-brazed stainless geekhouse badges. This was probably one of the greatest times I’ve had with a shop visit. It’s not often that someone would travel so far just to see our small little space in Allston. I’m excited to get these guys bikes going and can’t wait for a time where I get to go visit them..
